Climate change in the contemporary world has been a serious issue to the fragile ecosystems of our dear earth. Climate change is even posing threat to the Sundarbans of the Bengal basin which is facing several challenges in the present decades. The most threatened are the health of mangrove forests, the quality of soil and the alteration of the biodiversity. These factors in turn have affected the livelihood of the delta dwellers in the recent times. If the nature of this alteration is understood then the livelihood pattern could be saved from being hampered.

Hence to deal with this severe issue a field trip to this bio diversity is being conducted. It is an attempt of this field visit to assimilate the present scenario of the Sundarbans by:

A. Analyzing the local people’s perception on climate change and its impact on their livelihood

B. Sharing expert’s opinion regarding the present situation

C. An open house exchange of ideas

D. And finally framing preparedness related to this emerging issue It is desired that this study would open up newer avenues for a sustainable approach in the man nature relation.
