How much is this scholarship worth?
Scholarships of £2,000 and £5,000 are available for students starting in September 2021 and January 2022.
How to apply?
In order to apply for the Global Excellence Scholarship, you simply need to apply for your chosen course at Aston University and you will automatically be considered for this scholarship. We don’t require a written application statement, we will assess your eligibility based on your course application, your previous academic background and English language level.
What type of student is likely to receive a scholarship?
All international students who apply to study an undergraduate or full-time postgraduate programme starting in September 2021 or January 2022 will automatically be considered for a scholarship of up to £5,000.
Scholarships of £2,000 are available to students who achieve the equivalent of a UK 2:1 undergraduate degree classification, and scholarships of £5,000 are available to students who achieve the equivalent of a UK 1st class degree classification.

Global Excellence Scholarships will be awarded to students with strong academic backgrounds and English language levels.
Which courses are eligible?
Applicants to all undergraduate courses except for Medicine are eligible for this scholarship.
Applicants to all full-time 1-year postgraduate taught courses are eligible for this scholarship (except for the MBA).
Can I apply for more than one scholarship?
You can only receive one scholarship but you are able to apply for multiple scholarships. If you are successful in being awarded multiple scholarships, the highest value scholarship will be awarded to you. Scholarships will automatically be credited to your student account in the form of a tuition fee reduction.
Please note, postgraduate research students are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
