About SIS:
Sydney International School (SIS) uses the Cambridge curriculum blended with an Australian activity-based learning system. SIS is a co-educational and diverse institution founded in 2012, the school offers classes from Playgroup to A Level. Our school campus is located at Gulshan-2 in the diplomatic area of Dhaka.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and conduct lessons according to the course syllabus and scheme of work.
- Deliver lessons and provide the necessary supervision to students as a mentor or form teacher.
- Provide necessary supervision to the students, manage classroom and address discipline issues.
- Prepare and mark examination papers and assignments.
- Monitor the performance and progress of each student and provide academic counselling
- Attend team meetings and staff development workshops.
- Enable students to attain projected subject results.
Skill and Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree relevant to the subject to be taught. A Master’s Degree will be advantageous.
- Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in Cambridge O & A Level / GCE “O & A” Level in a school setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- CIE-trained teachers will be preferable.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Candidates living in Gulshan, Banani, Baridhara and Bashundhara will be given preference.
